Thank you for reaching out to Columbus Tree Care!

We’ve received your estimate request and will get back to you with an estimate date within 24 to 48 hours, Monday-Thursday.

We are a small company, and regularly check emails/phone calls “after hours”, but it may not always be the appropriate time to respond. If you do not hear from us promptly, please call or text 614-558-7344.

In the meantime, check out the following FAQ:

Q: What are the next steps after submitting my estimate request?

Once your estimate request is received, we will add you to the next available estimate date. Justin typically does all estimates on Fridays. On Thursday afternoons we map out the route he will take to do the estimates and call everyone with a 2-hour time window. Justin does his best to stay in that time frame, but occasionally we have a chattier customer, or many people not at home, so the timeline may shift.

He will call when he is heading in your direction. If you are not available, he can still look at your request. If your request is unclear, he call with questions.

After looking at the work that needs done, we email estimates.

Q: Can I request he come at a specific time?

We do our best to work with your schedule, but typically cannot guarantee a specific time unless it is first thing in the morning on Fridays. If you need to walk the property with Justin, and we cannot accommodate you on a Friday, please call us and we will find a day/time that works for both of us.

Q: Do you have Liability Insurance and Workers Comp?

Each estimate comes with a copy of our Workers Compensation Documentation and proof of Liability Insurance.

Be weary of any company who uses the phrase “Licensed, Bonded and Insured” as there is no license for tree work, and it is very unlikely for a tree company to be bonded and insured (very few projects require bonding for tree work).

Q: Are you a Certified Arborist?

Justin has been a certified arborist since 2009. His certification number is Oh6121A

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Cash and Check as payment. We do not accept any forms of electronic payment at this time. Payment is due 30 days from the invoice date. Invoices are sent once the job is complete. We can pick up payment, or it can be mailed.

Q: How long have you been in business?

Justin started Columbus Tree Care in 2018. We started with one pickup truck and trailer, and a few subcontractors. We now have three full time employees, and a lot more equipment.
